CHeese Hog TIMELINE
GS-1 (Grater / Shredder-1) through the years
1985 - After a few years of development Pete Palazzolo and the Palazzolo Manufacturing Company introduced the world to the first cheese grater/shredder designed specifically for the restaurant industry to accept a full size six pound block of cheese.
2000 - 15 years after the first GS-1 we added larger motor options and made the machine a one piece stand-alone floor model.
2007 – 22 years after the original tabletop machine was released, we redesigned our table top machine to accommodate the larger motor options.
2010 - We totally reengineered the Cheese Hog by removing gear boxes and moving to a belt driven system. We also designed this model to be a tabletop or floor standing machine.
2020 - Pete Palazzolo started his well deserved retirement.
2022 (April) - Well rested and with an abundance of customer requests for us to once again serve the industry, Pete's son, Scott, and his wife Dana, are ready to continue offering the 4th generation Legacy Cheese Hog lineup as Cheese Hog Manufacturing, LLC.

2025 - In 2025 we are celebrating the 40thAnniversary of my father Pete Palazzolo inventing and selling his first block cheese shredder. Read the article
